Today's Program

Guests: This day we have the unbelievable presence of Maged Amer, Rotarian of the Dubai Club eternal guest of our President Shadia,  Mrs Katrin Scholz, Educationnal Consultant, guest of Gabrielle, and Laura Tabet our dear speaker of the day and daughter of our dear Samy.

Events of the day: Laura Tabet will give us a lecture about :

"What enables successful marine protected area governance".

Birthdays: Gabrielle will have her birthday on the second and Rawi on the 7th of thismonth. Happy birthday to each of them from all our Club's members.

After some words about the events and actions of some other Clubs, Shadia gave way to Laura to explain us how the situation is about pollution and protection of the seas very near to us.

To make it short: we are giving to our kids and grand kids an earth which is more looking like a garbage box than the paradise it was long ago. The problem is that it took to the earth thousands and thousands of years to become what it was before our arrival as human beings on it. And, in a very small time in the scale of the earth we spolied everything for the happyness of the consumption society we created.

Maybe we could do something to help changing that fate... Is not it the will of our Rotary International ?

Here are some pictures...

Everybody is concerned, but how many time shall we keep that emergency to solve in mind... Who knows...

See you next week for the General Assembly of our Club

See you all, have a nice week...
