Today's Program
Guests: Few guests but very important ones, Mr Salem Mashur, PDG and Zamalek Club's member. He is the guest of all of us. And Emad Abdel Razek, friend of all of us. Welcome to both.
Events of the day: The subject is about Midan Tahrir and the spirit it gave to the people who were spending their time gathering night and day with the help of the police who was bringing some tender ambiance to this well known square of down town Cairo. The extraordinary speaker is Amr Abdel Kawi.
Birthdays: Ouf, Hassan is not here yet, but be careful next week...
Our dear President, after some words to welcome our guests gave way to Amr for his speach about Tahrir Square...
Our President confirmed the Club's choice about the next President who will be another woman, Diane. We wish her the best success possible and promise her all our support and efforts.
Do you want to know the story which makes her our next President ? I see you want but you are too shy to ask...
Go for it !!! Ah it is a pleasure when you ask questions about gossips, I love it too... Then, after Adel's resigning, we were missing our elected president. You know what Diane did ? She was rushing in, saying I want to be President, I want to be President... Of course, because we have only people with big hearts in this Club, we couldn't afford to make her sad and then after her unstoppable request, the board first and the Club after accepted her as our Elected President...
Of course all this is not true at all but I like it... Do what you want I have the keyboard...
It is not often that we speak about politics in Rotary but the situation is what it is... The revolution is everywhere... Members were eating before 8:00, speaking all the languages of the world but English and so forth... What a period...
The presentation was nice like usual where Amr is doing one. And the following conversation was really interesting and motivating for all the Egyptians of the Club and full of solidarity from the others...
